No. The stand when closed is a bit taller than the raised edges around the camera, so it doesn’t lay perfectly flat.
It’s designed with a tiny bit of space around the edge so that it will fit perfectly with a case.

You can use your own screen protector, but for maximum protection we advise pairing the case with the included screen protector.

I know there’s a lot of these out there, but these are the best that I have used. They have lots of installation aids including dust pads and wipes. The snap on installation spacer helps me get them on straight.

I usually have trouble finding the right screen protector because they tend to not feel great when it comes to touch screen interfacing. Luckily this one from ESR not only feels like the iPhone glass, but is incredibly easy to install. They also give you three screen protectors so you have a few extra tries in case it doesn’t bode well the first time :^) I’d definitely recommend for ease of use and quality.

The past 4 or 5 cases I have purchased have been ESR cases. They are always well made, durable and protective. I love the kickstand so ESR is by far the best choice I have found so far. The case feel thin, yet sturdy and has a very nice textured surface that makes for an easy grip. Well made as always.

One of the least intrusive cases in memory. EVEN THE BUTTONS retain a near case-less resistance level. I HATE when cases add 2 times+ on how much pressure is required to get the button depressed.This is my 4th phone with an ESR case. The one star miss is for missing the magnet ring available in their other cases. I use the magnetic charger AS my car mount and I’m concerned it won’t retain the hold comfortably without it.Screen edges are SLIGHTLY more pronounced than I prefer, but not enough to actually annoy.
