I already have a couple of iPad cases that I use, but am always on the lookout for that one case that meets all my needs. Most important to me is that the case provides solid protection for the iPad, while also making it easy and convenient to travel with and use. It’s been difficult to find one that meets both needs well.This case does have some nice features. It actually is two separate pieces that connect through a flap with strong magnets. The iPad snaps into a solid plastic case that is more substantial than most others. The iPad corners and surrounding edge are very well protected. Because it is thicker, it also seems that it should act as a kind of buffer for the screen if dropped.The backing is a clear plastic that is inset into the protective plastic case. One concern is that I’m not sure how well the clear plastic will hold up over time as far as scratches and I don’t particularly like how it shows fingerprints. That said, it’s nice that you can see the color of the iPad you chose and even better, it doesn’t add to the weight or width of the case.I think this will be my case of choice when I’m at home because of its versatility and ease of use. I’m also hoping that by not sliding it into a bag for trips or even just carrying it, the plastic will remain nice longer. I will update this review as to how well the clear plastic actually does hold up.

I bought this case for my Gen 3 11 inch iPad Pro and it’s an amazing case. The only issue is that the sleep and wake function don’t work when I open and close my case which isn’t really a deal breaker for me but it would be nice if it worked. But aside from that it’s amazing.

it’s worth of its $25. Before buying I asked if it has a microfiber lining from the screen’s side and I was answered that "yes, it’s imitated with microfiber lining". Well, it is really "imitated" and I wish I had paid for it with paper that imitated money… I’m a strong urge to return it because of such a tricky answer.UPD. Well, I reevaluated and left 5 stars because the seller managed a return quickly.

For the price , I am so happy with this product .. I was really about to spend around $80 on the otterbox case that looks like this one but this one is light enough but rugged enough aswell (hope that makes sense) the magnet is really strong and i bet the otterbox one doesn’t detach if you only want to use the clear case and not a folio .. i love this case & I highly recommend!

I love this case but the version ESR designed for the iPad Mini 6 is better than this version designed for the M1 iPad Pro. The ability to remove the cover and shed weight is awesome when signing digital documents or using indoors. I wish it came in more than 4 colours such as dark red. The magnets are very strong as shown in the pictures. I don’t like how it is designed to hold the pencil on the inside. ESR makes an iPad Mini version of this case where the pencil attaches to the outside which maintains the original width profile. I wish there was a similar version we could order as an option for this one. Aside from those two points, I would argue this is still one of the best cases for any iPad Pro or iPad Air. If ESR makes a few design enhancements I’ll happily buy another one.

Love that you can attach and detach cover. I like to read lying down and so need to hold IPad (rather than propping up on table) but holding it in your hands with a cover is annoying as it flops around, so this design solves the issue.I also am happy the pen holding area is on the correct side so charges. I had a clear case no cover but the pen holder was on the other side so it wasn’t able to charge.

This case looks nice and the clear back helped show off the Slickwrap skin I applied to protect my iPad Pro.What I liked most about this ESR Hybrid Case was:- Offers good protection with precise cutouts and tactile buttons- Sleep/wake functionality is responsive thanks to the cover on this case- The clear back allowed me to show off the skin I applied to my iPad ProWhat I liked least about this ESR Hybrid Case was:- Clear cases tend to yellow- Clear cases tend to pick up scratches that are hard to concealOverall, if you are in the market for a case to protect your iPad Air or Pro then this ESR Hybrid Case is a compelling purchase option. This ESR Hybrid case offers good protection, doesn’t inhibit sleep/wake functionality, and allows me to show off the Slickwraps skins I purchased. Now my iPad, MacBook Air, and iPhone 13 all have a consistent custom look that would have been lost in a case without a clear back. The downsides of clear cases are they tend to yellow and when scratched, can ruin the aesthetic of your device. Fortunately, I have encountered no yellowing and only have microabrasions on my case so it’s held up admirably. With a price tag that’s now less than 30 bucks, this ESR Hybrid Case is an easy recommendation for anyone who’s looking for a way to protect their iPad Air/Pro. 4.5 out of 5.0
