But the cover fits because the pencils are the same size. If they make a black cover for the new Apple Pencil Pro, I’ll buy it.

First, the package got misplaced in my home, sorry to ESR for saying it and another item did not get delivered, my bad. Second, good grip, nice feel. Third, as others are finding out it will make the pen not fit flush in certain cases. Bummer, it will charge but case cover will not close. Will probable send it back because of this flaw.

I like the look and feel of this cover. Although, I wish it actually charged when it is docked to my iPad. I still use it because it is useful, but I have to remove the cover to charge it. Making it a bit inconvenient.

UPDATE — Solodream reached out unprompted and offered me a refund, no strings attached. They clarified my issue — my case has a thin layer of protection over the pencil charging edge. It allows the pencil to charge well, but not when a sleeve is added. If you want to use this sleeve, make sure you can see your charging edge through a cutout in your case. I was so amazed with their customer service I bumped this up from 3 stars to 5. If you are ordering, be sure to consider Solodream. Such exceptional customer service is rare these days!!! They even directed me to an alternative case and offered to send it to me — AMAZING. I was happy with my case and OK without a sleeve, but couldn’t believe the service.—-Original Review —Nice sleeve and would have been great except they did not charge in my ESR case. I had a friend that had told me about them and they worked fine with her case. I gave there the sleeve as a backup to use if hers wore out or to pass on to another.

This one covers the sensor on the Apple pencil, however, I use Goodnotes for note-taking, so there’s no need for the sensor. I like the onesie design, some of the Apple pencil sleeves on ESR contain 2 parts, the problem with that is when you use those over time, the sleeve slips down from your Apple pencil.
