I was so excited about this idea! A matter cover I could use only when I was writing and then take off to fully enjoy the screen! But it fails in execution. It doesn’t feel like paper, it feels like plastic. And although the iPad picks up the pen strokes fine, Apple’s text-to-type software struggled with this cover. It only correctly identified my handwritten words about half the time, which is far poorer performance than without the cover. Had to send it back.

The texture of this is great – it’s easy to get on and off, the magnets work great, and I love how it feels to draw on. It does sometimes confuse the ipad on the angle your pen is at, and if your ipad has no home button it can be hard to use the home screen swipe-up gesture on landscape mode.

Comfortable and easy to use.It does mute the screen a bit, but all paper like protectors are like that.Nice quality, no bubbles, and tough as nails.I do recommend using ESR cases with this though, it is a bit thicker and ended up being too thick for other brand folio cases

I don’t usually write reviews, but I love this product way more than I expected to. It’s easy to install (and to remove as needed). And I love the way it feels to swipe and write on – similar to an ereader surface. No problems with Apple Pencil either. Most of all I love the way it makes the screen feel gentler in the eyes, particularly in the evening – again, similar to an ereader. Very impressed & hope they’ll make these for more devices.

I ordered the wrong one for my iPad, but ESR has such great customer service that they took care of it! They first reached out to me via email to ask how the product worked for me. After finding out that I had the incorrect version ordered, they sent me the correct one with no costs at all and the new one arrived the next day! This is what I call AWESOME customer service! The screen protector works really well with my iPad! It’s definitely anti-glare and my Apple Pencil doesn’t glide on iPad! It really feels like writing on paper! I love the ESR brand!

I purchased this for my iPad Pro 2018, yes after somany years I finally bought it, call this time never knew such magnetic detachable sheets were available. I used to write on iPad but never used to enjoy it because of the smooth surface. After installing this product I really loved to write on my ipad, never too late. Highly recommend this product and you can’t go wrong with ESR brand. One important thing to note you might feel the edges of skin protector when swiping Horizontally.
