Looks really great. Feels different to appearance however, it’s very much plastic. Would prefer cloth. No Sleep/Wake but not a problem with the Air 4 (Touch ID). Plastic frame does feel rigid and less durable but so far I’ve swapped in and out a few times without breakage.

Looking for a budge book style case for the iPad Air 4. Have to say, it’s hard to get a case when a device just comes out. Not a lot of options and you don’t quite know if the item was listed properly. This is indeed for the iPad Air 4. I don’t know what happen to that other guy in the other review.This meets expectations of a cheap book style case. The material on the outside is some sort of plastic/rubber materially thing that is mimicking canvas. Overall it has has a good grip and feel, although synthetic. The inside is "felt like" but not felt. (Sorry, I don’t know how else to say it.)Volume buttons work fine and without difference with or without the case. The power button is expose for touch ID, which is a necessary feature. The apple pencil 2 slot is open, but I prefer it because it allows me to put a silicon sleeve on my apple pencil. If I had a case plus a sleeve, it would stick but not charge.As other said, there is no magnetic in the case so there is no sleep and awake device. Also, there isn’t much of a cover in the back.This is a good purchase early in the iPad Air 4 cycle, as there isn’t much of a selection. I wasn’t looking for something to last, I was just in a hurry to cover my darn device. For that reason, I am very satisfied. If you want something that will last the life of the entire device, I feel this may last but not look as good after two or three years because of the material. Just a feeling. Who knows. Great for the price though.
