This mount holds so much better than the other ESR brand mount I purchased originally. Because this one has the hook that can be tightened down it holds super strong and going over large bumps in the road or even railroad tracks this thing does not go anywhere. I am much happier with this model…the only downside is that it doesn’t have the mag-safe charger as part of it.

Great mount. And if you have any case without the magsafe magnet you can buy the attachment ones and can the use this. Even works if you have a ring thing on your case. Smart design.

Pretty sure that I got a defective unit, not sure. I purchased this and on my first use, it scratched the Magsafe ring on the back of my newly purchased case. If you see on the right side of the phone holder it has a raised edge and you can see the corresponding scratch on my phone screen. Works perfectly just beware when you purchase and make sure you don’t run into the same issue. I contacted ESR themselves and they have fixed the situation. Great customer support on their part!

I have used various car vent mounts for iPhone, and this mount is the best one. Its two feet create a stable and secure mount for the phone. The MagSafe magnet is strong and can hold an iPhone 14 Pro Max without issue. There is still some vibration when driving on rough roads and potholes, but it is much better than other car vent mounts I had. I recommend this mount for anyone looking for a car vent mount.
