Least for this product, it doesn’t need cheap adhesive to stick on a surface or leave a residue.Mine reached a year old now and still going strong. Worth it.

My only point of comparison is a Belkin car holder, and this ESR product is significantly superior. It feels more secure, the magnets are stronger, it doesn’t loosen over time, and it has cushions to prevent scratching.
