The sleek ESR 8-IN-1 portable stand hub is a nice-looking, useful addition to my desktop that centralizes my many cables for output and input, creating a true work station. The adjustability fulcrum(?) of the holder has a great, strong hold, so my tablet hasn’t budged. I think the term “docking stand hub” describes this product more accurately. In my photos, I put an empty phone case of a standard android, just to show the relative size. The base is sturdy and works well for me, but I’m not sure how it would handle the weight of a heavier tablet with a case on — these days the cases seem heavier than the devices.Having eight ports is a fantastic, but I’d prefer it have just 1 vs 2 ports for SD cards (can use adapter), even to just have ONE more USB C port.I was most disappointed that the USB C cable used for power was not included. In fact, not only do, I think the power source cable should be included at this level. Regarding using a USB-C port, I would be DEFINITELY prefer it used a USB-A 3.0 port for this, making it possible for another USB-C port for use.Overall I like this hub. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to accurately experience the speed, because the Internet/Wi-Fi has undergone changes since I started using this product! I’m still making use of its portability without leaving my home…yet. Hopefully I can update this review soon, once everything is set up.

Feels solid, got it on discount so it is an amazing deal.

Had this a few months now and I’m happy with it. It works as intended and charges my iPad quickly while I can browse the internet. Only issue if anything is trying to keep the cables tidy when I’m using this but maybe cable ties or Velcro may help with this. It’s a good solid stand too.

I have a rather convoluted set up, involving two stands a KVM and multiple PCs/tablets that get swapped in and out. Originally I had a USB C dongle mini docked cable tied to the back of cheap tablet stand which I used for my tablets/surface laptop/portable monitor, with the other stand hosting a laptop that does not charge by USB C (Unforgiveable Lenovo, it has USB C and tries to do it, but not enabled). A little messy but workable.Caught a You Tube video which extolled a more expensive version, that only works with iPad, so did some searching on ESR and found this. It has cleaned up my desk no end, plus freed up my dongle for travel. So far I have used this with:Surface LaptopiPad ProSamsung S8 (including Dex)Samsung S20Galaxy Tab pro (Windows)I am also trying to get this working with my portable monitor, without having to plug/unplug everything but not quite as easy. Limitation is me not the dock, trying to do too much I think. If I could get my MacBook Air (Intel) to work, no USB C on this one, then my life would be so much simpler.Unit is sturdy, hinges solid enough even when using laptop open (ignore squiggles on screen, realised my son playing guitar in background) and everything worked first time. I have a 65W charger plugged in and used the supplied cable as recommended and have had no issues. Now I will qualify, using the laptop open is not the most stable thing, the unit is not designed for a laptop but for me it works.

I’ve only just got this and tested it so I can’t speak about the long-term, but the build quality of this is impressive. It’s lightweight and importantly, the hinges take some real effort to move so you know your tablet isn’t going to be too heavy. Apart from that, all the ports seem to work, so it does everything it’s supposed to do.

It’s a bit slower than I imagined when it comes to transfering data or streaming videos through an hdmi, but all of the features work.

Had it a couple of weeks now and it does the job great. No complaints and would but again.
