I’ve used Anker MagSafe, Apple MagSafe, and other 3-in-1 chargers with MagSafe charger built-in, this is the best charger if you only consider charging an iPhone. Other chargers using MagSafe overheat. Anker products tend to overheat a lot more in my opinion. This product does heat up but it’s nothing bothersome to touch. The kickstand is great for using the device while charging. Apple MagSafe charger just lays on the table. The removable USB-C cable from the charging puck is fairly useful since you can charge other devices! I don’t know why some manufacturers don’t do this, when you need to charge your battery pack or tablet with USB-C, you just unplug the charging puck from the cable and plug in the device you want to charge.

In the interest of fairness because I definitely appreciate flexible ingenuity, I should start off by saying I really like what ESR has tried to do with this product. I also suspect it would work better with silicone cases – less slippery at least – but my OtterBox case is hard plastic and this charger is round without anything to pin it in place, so it doesn’t balance very well on the kickstand. Also takes forever to charge . . . again that might be because my case is too thick but it IS MagSafe compatible so I’m not sure the case is the problem. At any rate. Like I said this is a great concept it just doesn’t work for me.

I’ve been testing it out for 2 weeks or so and it does work. The stand seems pretty good and the charging speed, too. However, it does get very, very hot. I tried the specific 18w they recommend and it still gets very hot. I’m not sure why. I am satisfied with the charger itself, but not how hot it gets. It also seems to make my phone hot so I’m not sure if it will end up creating damage to the battery or not. Time will tell.

Works well and decent enough quality. I picked this one as the lead can be unplugged from the charging pad. USB C both ends but of course you can change the lead if your wall charger or adapter requires. Also has a neat flip out leg so use night mode on iPhone, e.g. bedside clock.

Very useful, especially the stand and detachable USB-C cable (many others are fixed cable). Customer service is excellent, resolved minor issue quickly. Highly recommend all ESR products (I’ve purchased many).

Excellent item if you only want a small MagSafe charger. Like that it can with a USB C to C cable and an adapter for USB A chargers.I’ve bought two as I like them so much

I bought this to use with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Spigen case that includes magsafe compatibility. This ESR wireless charger is great if you need something portable. It provides up to 15W wireless charging and it works quite well.

Excellent value, just gets a bit hot when charging so better to not use it whilst charging
