I quite like the quality and functionality of this new iPad 2024 container a except for the pencil situation.. It certainly was not clear in their photograph But there’s no separate piece that actually holds the pencil, It is only held in a shallow depression along the side to be held by the by the magnets. This means it comes loose quite often, and so you have to really keep track of your pencil.. Wish it had its own secure. ability to hold the pencil beyond only the magnet.

It fits on like an iPhone case and helps keep the weight down. You’ll need a screen protector is all. But if you want to keep it as a tablet rather than laptop mode this is a good way to keep it light.

I bought this to protect my new iPad and remain upset at Apple for selling only a cover to protect the back and front, and not the edges.This case protects the edges, giving me much relief about handling it. It’s solid, grippy, but not heavy and is very pleasing to look at (I bought the clear one). There is no issues accessing the power and volume buttons, and the case does not get in the way of charging the pencil.There is only one drawback which I knew would be an issue (and not the fault of the case): The case is very VERY incompatible with the magic keyboard. Yes, technically it can hold the ipad in place but the magnetic connection is very weak and even if it stays in place, there’s no connectors to charge the ipad while nested in the case and docked. I don’t really hold this against the case, just annoying to have to swap one for the other when I’m on the go.Overall, I’m very pleased with this case and offers good value for the amount paid.
