Overall, I think this is a great product. As a student who has gone through undergrad, grad school, and soon medical school, I know this will be an essential grab. In general, The keyboard functionality allows this to be a replacement computer on those days that you don’t want to bring an entire laptop. The touchpad allows for a seamless transition between what a laptop and this case work to be. The keyboard allows you to both write (with Apple Pencil) and type on notes for a flawless result.About the case:It is heavy. Its a sturdy case, with a keyboard so I wouldn’t except it to be a light and airy case. The magnet is sturdy and there is a closure magnet as well that locks the pencil in when the case is closed. The charging function where the pencil needs to go is not disturbed. You can change the angle that you are viewing the iPad which is nice. The case comes as described and so far, after using it for a couple of days and charging at the end of the night, I have not run into any issues with the battery life.

This saves so much time instead of tapping on the screen to type words.- What I really like about it is how the BUTTONS on the keyboard are a little larger than on a regular MacBook laptop. Also, the material of the entire keyboard is easier for the fingers, b/c the skin slides on the keys very smoothly.- Keyboard has 3 light settings and 7 light colors. Also, the light on the keyboard can be turned OFF.- The keyboard has a “Standby Mode,” which helps the battery last longer. If there is 1 minute of inactivity, the light will turn OFF on its own. After 10 min of inactivity, the keyboard will be in standby mode (sleep mode).- The thickness of the keyboard is great. Definitely solid and NOT heavy.- The back is magnetic, and the part that holds the iPad can be detached if needed.

Got this for my iPad 12.9. Fit perfectly. The keyboard was nice and snappy and the case overall had a premium feel to it. Highly recommend, another banger product from ESR.

Was looking for something so I could turn my iPad into a laptop while travelling and I love this product. I was a bit worried about the weight after reading reviews but I didn\’t find it that heavy (considering I was going to take my very heavy 16inch macbook pro). I love how not only is it a protective case it\’s also a keyboard. Keen to use it overseas!

I was looking for a new case after my Apple original one finally started to look like the dogs had been chewing on it. I live in Thailand so options that did not include Thai symbols are somewhat limited so I searched on ESR and finally decided to purchase this one after reading the reviews. I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of the case, keyboard and trackpad as well as the simplicity with which I was able to connect it to my iPad. The trackpad works like a harm and it’s now enabled me to work more effectively without having to resort to getting my MacBook out. All in al I would say this is terrific value at just under $80 and I thoroughly recommend it.
