No. The case has to be removed to use the magic keyboard.
The case can be easily taken off for cleaning. Wiping with a damp cloth will remove any dirt or grime that has accumulated on the outside of the case.
Yes. This case is compatible with all ESR screen protectors. It should also be compatible with most third-party protectors too, but we can’t guarantee compatibility. For the best fit and overall protection, we recommended pairing it with an ESR screen protector.
No. The stand can be folded into two stable stand positions, one for watching videos and one for writing with your Apple Pencil or typing.
The inside has a soft lining that protects your iPad from scratches.

Got this as an alternative to use when I don’t need the Magic Keyboard. I like to be able to have a lightweight option to easily between the two. this works perfectly. The black color is a standard black matte—nothing unusual. Installation is a breeze—just align and snaps itself into place. The magnets used to attach the iPad Pro are super strong and provides a secure fit. There was no indication at all that the iPad would fall off. Folding back the cover, it provides a good tilt angle for viewing and for tablet writing. The material and construction is great for its value. This is my 7th item from ESR and they never disappoint.

I’ve been ordering/using ESR covers for 5 years. Loved the original simple design, complete corner protection. I wish ESR would continue making the one I’m replacing (2020 iPad 12.9”). See photos.It had complete protection around the corners….saved my iPad on a couple of drops! I’ve been using it EVERY DAY for 4+ years, traveling everywhere with it.ESR shows the original not available.I don’t use a pencil, so the cradle/flap is useless to me, and adds another step when opening.So if you’re reading this ESR, please bring back the original, I’ll give 5 stars.

Minimalist folio style cover that does the usual thirds fold stand for table top viewing. The additional magnetic flap keeps the Apple Pencil in place when closed. Good soft touch materials, both outside and inner liner. Magnets keep the cover firmly in place attached to the iPad. Adds minimal thickness. No side bumper protection (as with plastic or silicone clip in designs), but this design favors slim style over chunky bump and drop protection.For the price, tough to beat.
