The case is awesome, design is 10/10 for me, fits perfectly, holds securely. The only problem is that waking and locking the tablet is not possible I assume due to the strength of the magnets as with some older ESR cases it works. 😀

You should know the sleep/wale feature does not work on this case. Otherwise it’s good

I was very excited for the new OLED iPad Pro, but not that excited about spending another $100 on an ‘official’ folio case. So after placing my iPad order, I immediately went to ESR and sought out this ESR case. I have had great experience with ESR products in the past, and knew this would be a great case. I am not disappointed!This case looks and feels like one you would get direct from Cupertino, except it has the added benefit of a magnetic flap that keeps my Apple Pencil secured when I put the iPad in my bag. The magnets are super strong, the fit and finish matches the new design of the iPad perfectly, and the interior material ensures that my screen will be protected.My only wish for this folio case going forward is that they "borrow" an idea from California and add a few more magnets to the back so that we can take advantage of different angles when viewing a movie or propping up the iPad on a desk. Otherwise, this case is fantastic! It looks great, it feels great, it offers a nice, thin profile to enhance the thin new iPad. Get this case – you won’t be disappointed and you’ll save a lot of money in the process!

sleep/wake function doesn’t work.

It’s a sturdy slim profile case and definitely more hefty with the weight of the magnets. Very strong magnets. Only downside, there is no sleep wake function with the cover. That’s a bit irksome. So close to being the perfect case. Even though I have an official folio case on the way, I’d probably keep this case as a backup. For the price, it functions well enough.

This case does not support sleeping and waking the iPad when shutting it for the 2024 11” iPad Pro.

Great value I have the 11 inch matching the model number in the product photos. The auto sleep/wake function works well for me.

When using the new M4 iPad Pro the angle the case sits at is almost straight up and down. I’ve used previous versions of this case and the angle was much more comfortable for table usage. It’s probably fine if you don’t plan typing/tapping screen much when using it (I.e. watching or consuming content) but for productive use not great. It appears the first fold on the front is narrower than previous versions so it creates a triangle with two long sides and one short side the iPad is propped against.And as others have said, there’s no sleep/wake either. ESR likely rushed this out hoping specs wouldn’t change of magnets.

I like the neat appearance and design of the tablet cover. Very sharp, form fitting. A perfect alternative to my keyboard case for when I don’t want to carry around a giant, heavy case on my iPad Pro!
