I bought this for my partners iPad Air 5. In just a few short weeks since buying him the iPad, I’ve purchased two other cases, which he hated for various reasons. I bought him a keyboard case, he found it too difficult to use. I bought him a flexible folio case, which he hated. So I bought this case for a few reasons. It’s a harder more durable case, but offers the flexibility of a folio case at the same time. It’s a WINNER – Ding Ding Ding! It’s simply awesome in every way. It has a hard shell case for the iPad, which magnetically attaches to a hard, but flexible folio. And the hardshell case for the iPad provides some of the best protection I’ve seen in any case. The magnets are very strong, which lesser cases don’t offer. All the openings are perfectly aligned. And you have excellent access to the Touch ID Power button, which is important. I love how you can prop the case open in various angles AND even more importantly, you can attach the iPad in its case in vertical or landscape. I haven’t seen any case which does this. The case fully supports charging Apple Pencil, but does not have a flimsy flap that covers the pencil when not in use, but also is annoying if you’ve ever had a case with one. Instead, ESR built a pocket into the back of the case you slide the pencil in to keep it safe during transport. VERY NICE.This case is made of rugged shock-resistant polymer, which for someone like my partner, who is pretty tough on cases, should stand the test of time. Other than the fact this case seems to come in only one color, which is black (other color options would have been nice), there isn’t anything to complain about here. And while not inexpensive, it still costs less than the flimsy official Apple Folio case you can buy and is ever so much better made and provides ever so much more protection.I simply can’t recommend this case enough!

Loving this case as it appears to be very sturdy and high quality material. I also love the magnets that are a part of the design

I wanted something that had adequate protection as well as flexibility in the orientation of the iPad when I use it. Most other cases can only hold up the pad horizontally. This case can do both vertical and horizontal orientation. It achieves this through a clever use of a tight-fitting protective case on the iPad itself, combined with another flap case that serves as the stand. The protective case snaps onto the flap case by way of a magnet. The material and fit of both the internal protective case and the external flap case are excellent, although time will tell if they can survive the 2-year period that I expect to keep this iPad. There are also several positive detents for your viewing angles to satisfy just about anyone. The one cool thing about this case is that in portrait mode, you can actually have your pad held about 1 inch higher than the surface the case is resting on (the internal magnetic-backed case can snap onto the external flap case at a higher snapping point), which allows you just enough room to fit a USC-C charging cable, meaning you can charge your pad even while you are using it in portrait mode. Why is this cool? Well if you use your pad a lot for playing games or other CPU-intensive tasks, your battery will drain fast and having this flexibility allows you to keep playing as long as you want. Look at the picture attached and you’ll see what I mean. The other thing to note is that when the pad is held horizontally (landscape), you must keep the top of your iPad on the LEFT side to match the holes on the external flap for your iPad back camera. This is because the magnets that attaches the internal case to the external flap case are made only match the proper orientation of the camera holes on yout iPad. This is the normal orientation when your iPad is inside the flap case anyway. If you reverse the case and put the top of the iPad to the right when in landscape mode, the external flap will not hold your iPad in any reading mode because the magnets will now repel each other and your pad will slide down off the external flap case. While there are cheaper cases out there, none offered both the protection and flexibility in orientation that this case offered. If you don’t care about using your pad in portrait/vertical orientation, then buy the cheaper cases that are about 1/2 the price of this one. But if you want flexibility AND protection, I think this one is a nice choice. It also has a pocket for the Apple pen, although I don’t use one so I cannot attest to its usefulness.

I like this case so far. The multiple angles and portait mode are great. It seems durable so far…time will tell. I wish there were more colors to choose from but I will deal with black.

My case came in the mail today and so far I love it! The magnet is strong and the case seems durable as well. I’ve been looking for a case that has a better stand than my case I’ve used for months. It’s nice that it’s a two piece case because sometimes I don’t need the stand. It’s also capable with the Apple Pencil. It can be stored on the back in the small pouch or will connect to the side of the case to charge. So happy I found this one! Can’t wait to use it more.

This iPad cover has a separate protective case and then magnetically attach to the flap part. It has main protective case that goes around the iPad and then it magnetically clips into the cover piece. This case also enables the charging of the Apple Pencil and has a separate holder at the back. The magnets on this case are strong and the quality of the case seems nice. All in all, the cover is very durable and is also immensely practical because you can adjust your iPad with 8 different angles based on your use cases.Perhaps, addign some more colour choices to the case would have been a nice addition to the product. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase!

This is a good case that has a unique strong magnetic feature allowing extra positions for the iPad. The magnets add weight. This case weighs one pound, so you are doubling the weight of the iPad and it is noticeable. The value you place on the flexibility that the magnets provide will need to justify the added weight and cost. This product does not come with a screen protector. The build quality is high and this should protect the iPad well. The only color is black, and this will cover the color of the iPad.This is designed for the iPad Air 5 2022 10.9-inch. It fits the 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch, but the extra cameras on the Pro are covered. The current price is $48, which is much higher than a basic case, but this is a superior product. If you mainly use your iPad on a specific desk, you are better off with a flexible tablet stand than a flexible case.

this is the only case i could find that met the following for me1) not a trifold2) multiple viewing angles in stand3) detachable from folio4) usable in portrait while in case (while in the stand rotate the ipad and it will snap into place in portrait. perfect for facetiming somebody with an iphone)5) didn’t have cutout for pencil (added bulk that i will never use, instead there is a soft sleeve for you to slip the pencil in if you use one)another neat feature is that the magnets on this thing are seriously strong. you can actually set it on your microwave or fridge while cooking to follow a recipe and it’s extremely sturdy. overall glad i didn’t cheap out on another option because this one was well worth the price.

This is amazing I really wish I would’ve found it cases ago. I love being able to separate so easily from the rest of the case. I use my iPad for gps and other things in my truck and I love not having to remove the case to put it in the holder. It would be perfect if there was a Bluetooth keyboard.

Well worth the price for what you get. Love that it also magnets to a fridge or anything else. Couldn’t be happier.
