Very nice quality case. Can’t fault it, it does everything I need it to do. Quality is 10/10 and the magnets are very strong. My only gripe is that it is a little heavy but my last case was nowhere near as sturdy so it makes sense.

At first I was skeptical about getting this case boy let me tell you I am one happy person with case I can use it 5 ways I love the vertical stand and landscape there’s so many ways to use this case , the apple iPad folio case can’t touch this one I will return my iPad folio case as soon as possible buy this CASE people you won’t regret it!!!! Pros:Hybrid case, affordable, removable screen flap, slim and not overly grippy/slippery, Touch ID works with air 5th gen and it’s a great fitCons:Very hard to use in the orientation pictured. The magnets aren’t the strongest in the portrait orientation and it is prone to sliding. For this orientation, it’s probably better to use the trifold flap to make it stand vertically like the apple cases.Overall very happy with the option to use a simple case on the back of the iPad, use it as a stand, or have full protection when not in use.

This is a great case for your iPad Air or 11” iPad Pro. The case has two components that connect together magnetically, a minimalist clear plastic and TPR case that snaps onto the iPad and a reinforced vinyl cover that wraps around the iPad for greater protection of the iPad when needed The cover also serves as a stand that can support the iPad in either portrait or landscape orientations.Initially, I will discuss the use of the case without using the vinyl cover. The case snaps over the edges of the iPad and will stay firmly in place, but can be removed from the iPad with very little effort if necessary. It has a slightly rubbery protective raised lip that wraps around the sides and corners of the iPad. It is raised about 0.047” (3/64”) above the iPad’s screen’s. This lip: (1) keeps the screen from getting marred if you place it screen side down on a flat surface, (2) provides some damage protection for the edges and corners of the iPad if it is dropped and (3) most importantly, it provides a much grippier surface to hold onto than the iPad’s super slippery surfaces to help prevent you from dropping it. Even the case’s clear plastic back panel is somewhat easier to maintain a grip on than the iPad’s slippery anodized metal backplate. This is one of the main reasons that I wanted a case for the iPad. I was constantly scared that the bare iPad was going to slip out of my hands and get damaged due to its slippery construction. The case has a cutout for the power button so turning on the iPad and fingerprint reading (Touch ID) are unaffected. The two volume buttons are covered by the case’s own rubberized buttons, so it takes a little more force to actuate them than it would without the case. The additional force required isn’t a real problem, in my opinion. I don’t own an Apple Pencil, but their is a recessed area for the Apple Pencil in the case’s edge where the Pencil normally attaches to the iPad so I would assume the case is compatible with the Apple Pencil’s magnetic holding and charging features. However, if you plan to use the iPad with the Magic Keyboard, you will have to remove the case from the iPad prior to mounting it on the keyboard because the clear plastic back panel of the case covers the three electrical contacts on the back of the iPad that connect with the keyboard. The case has cutouts for the iPad’s four side speakers and a generous cutout around the USB-C charging port that shouldn’t interfere with the attachment of most any power cord. The back of the case has a square cutout for the iPad Pro’s three cameras and sensor, but it comes with an insert that fits into the square cutout that better matches up with the iPad Air’s single camera and sensor. For greater protection of the iPad’s screen, for instance when transporting the iPad, you can magnetically attach the vinyl cover to the case. The cover wraps completely around the iPad and also serves as a stand to support the iPad in either portrait or landscape orientations. As long as you don’t plan to use your iPad with the Magic Keyboard, this is a great choice for a case that adds minimal weight or bulk to the iPad without the vinyl cover and with the cover attached, provides greater protection for the iPad when needed. I think it provides a great solution for protecting the iPad while adding minimal weight and bulk when the vinyl cover isn’t needed.

The fact that I have two cases in one is amazing. My wife loves it so much because she can take the outer cover off and connect the iPad to her display mount. Makes life sure easy. Only down side is the pen can get lost if you don’t have the outer case. Besides that I’m super happy with it.

This case is amazing! It’s truly a hybrid case with so many different setups. It provides a lot of protection and the feel inside and out of the case is second to none. Really happy with it with the only downfall (if you consider this to be one) is the size and a bit of bulk ones that comes with the case that does it all

I like this case very much. It’s lightweight, but oh so versatile. It comes nicely packaged and as the photos illustrate, does a great job of protecting our brand new iPad Air 5. I like how it’s hard shell see through case and a folio case all rolled into one. Since the new iPad Air 5, comes in an array of really cool colors, it’s terrific being to see the color through the back of hard shell polycarbonite case. And it snaps on with great magnetic strength to the folio case. When the iPad is attached in its case is attached to the folio and all is closed, the iPad is fully protected, including a flap to keep your Apple Pencil securely in place when not being used. I’ve owned ESR iPhone cases, so I know ESR cases are well made and durable. Being attractive and super functional are great things. If there was one thing I’d recommend ESR change, is the cutout for the USB C plug. It’s a bit narrow and the better quality cable we were using with a previous iPad was a bit too large. I wound up buying a high quality Anker charging cable which is a bit mroe narrow and works well. Otherwise, this is a great case for either an iPad Pro 11 or Air 4/5.

very happy with this case. my previous case could only be set horizontal, this one can do both vertical and horizontal placement which I’m loving. the quality of the case is really nice as well.
