Purchased this in Sep 2023 based on some of the reviews and it’s fantastic. Turns my ipad into a laptop which is perfect for my needs.UPDATE: May 10, 2024 – all of a sudden a few keys have stopped working on the keyboard – x,s,w,2 so that’s weird. I have taken impeccable care of this device, and overnight it just stopped working???! I’ve googled everything I could to fix it on my own without contacting ESR customer support. Hopefully ESR will get back to me within their stated 24hrs with a solution – will update this review once that occurs.UPDATE: May 13, 2024 – reached out to ESR on the 10th of May and received a quick response from their customer support and they’re sending me a new keyboard – free of charge. I’m thrilled with their service and with the keyboard. I have purchased several items from ESR in the past (screen protectors, phone holder for my truck etc.) and will remain a loyal customer from now on. Not often nowadays to find a company who actually cares about their products and customers. Thanks ESR for your quality products, integrity and fabulous service!!

The keyboard is great. The product works as advertised, but it’s just too bulky and the rear plastic attachment feels cheap. Because the rear plate has embedded magnets, it adds to the weight of an iPad which has been engineered by Apple to be light weight … so it takes away from the experience.

A few hours into using this key board and trackpad everything seems great. Looks like I’ve saved a lot of money by avoiding the apple version. The felt-like material on either side of the keyboard feels nice but also I’m not sure how it will stand the friction over time. It’s not as light as the iPad but I have the 2024 M2 11-inch air and its paper light to begin with. The weight (not bad at all) doesn’t bother me. Keys feel very nice.I will update if time permits as I use the device more. Hopefully it stands the test of time. The 24 month warranty link that comes with the packaging doesn’t seem to work though.Update as of Tuesday May 28th. Had to reconnect a few times for the track pad to get working from power on. Annoying (-1 Star)

It was a bit confusing how many versions of this pencil there are, and I wanted to be sure to get one that could magnetically attach AND charge on my new 2024 iPad Pro 11". This "Pro" model looked most likely that it would work, but sadly it doesn’t. Bought 3 ESR pencils including this one, and none charge through the magnetic connection. 2/3 also didn’t even attach very well. Definitely disappointed because the pencil looks and feels nice, but it’s a deal breaker so I’m returning them.

Owned black gen 1 version that I lost; do not recommend black as it is hard to see under chair, crevices etc. So I got Gen 2 silver version to match iPad. I like it so far. Gen 2 Button to quickly get to Home or app switch Screen is nice. Have little experience with drawing apps but it is much better than using finger. Tilt is usable but again nit a lot of experience/need to use it.

Set it up on the iPad lets us use this as a small laptop.

This is a great case. It is easy to use. My only complaint is I would like to disable the trackpad on it, so I don’t randomly click something I don’t need to while typing. I have fat hand syndrome and as such I will end up clicking something while typing that I didn’t intend to.

I did enjoy the product-worked well and was user friendly, until it wouldn’t charge. However, ESR was quick to offer to offer to replace it as soon as I notified them of the problem. The new one is on its way as I write this!
