No, a power adapter is not included. When selecting a power adapter, make sure to use a 5V 2A\9V 1.5A fast charging adapter.
All wireless charging produces some level of heat, especially if you are performing CPU-intensive activities on your phone, such as gaming or watching videos, while charging. To avoid overheating, be sure to remove any metal attachments between your phone and the wireless charger during charging.
Apple limits third-party wireless chargers to 7.5W, which means wireless chargers from any brand besides Apple are limited to 7.5W. The MagSafe animation is only shown when officially certified Apple chargers are attached.

Works great and is very fast at charging my iPhone 13 pro but my only issue is when it charges for a bit from low it gets quite warm. Mostly kept on the side table and have no issues, if kept on the bed it may start a fire or cause minor burns.

Just a simple black MagSafe charging puck. The magnets are strong and it charges pretty fast (paired with a 20w brick). It only got mildly warm when charging but that’s expected with wireless charging.Note: It does not come with a brick
