This mount is great. It was a free replacement for a slightly different vent mount that I had for almost two years, also from ESR Gear. The customer service is awesome. What I like about this mount than the other one is that it will definitely not fall off the vent, like how the one with the clip did unfortunately. The only downside is that because of the strong fit on the vent, the vent no longer moves up and down, however it still moves side to side. The magnetic HaloLock is amazingly strong. The customer service at ESR Gear is second to none…thanks team!

Love this! It’s a game-changer for me. It’s so convenient to just snap my phone to the holder, not needing to adjust anything. I love it especially when you are in a rush, no extra step. It holds well, it will not move at all. I had to figure out at first how to put it into my vent because my car has a vertical orientation. Just had to rotate it accordingly and it worked!

This holder is great. The magnet is so strong it’ll never fall off on its own. I bought two for each of my cars couldn’t be any better.

Overall it’s fine? It’s a shame there’s not a good way to lock the tension/adjustment ring in the back; it will loosen with time. It’s not a big deal to tighten it up again after a few weeks, but the way these things go you may not notice it’s loose until your phone is already on the floor. The magnetic portion, on the other hand, is rock solid; perhaps too good, at times, as removing your phone torques the mount around a bit.
