My son ordered this ESR Metal Kickstand Case(S21 Ultra) for me as a gift in Aug 2022 and I love it. I’ve dropped my phone on the ground multiple times since I started using the case. It protected my phone very well and the case is not bulky at all. I particularly like the design of the kickstand that allows me to adjust the standing angle of my phone. A couple of weeks ago the kickstand arm fell off from the case. I then ordered 2 kickstand cases from other brands but I returned both of them because I didn’t like the overall build of the cases and the quality of their kickstands. I tried my luck contacting ESR three days ago asking if there was anything they could do for me. They replied quickly, and, three days later I received a replacement case. Well done ESR !

Opted for the darker shade to avoid any possible problems with it going yellow over time. Case fits well and the stand clip seems solid enough for now.The darker coloured case has a matte finish and will show some slight finger marks.

Update: after trying for a week or so I’ve realised the NFC payment does not work on all payment devices. I have the Samsung galaxy s21 ultra and not had issues with other cases. It seems the thickness of this case can block the signal which means having to remove the phone from the case to use contactless pay and this isn’t ideal.Another slight gripe is that the kick stand should open from the other side. As it is when you open the stand and lay the phone horizontally it lays with the volume keys facing down against the table. Each time you want to change the volume you have to lift the phone and this takes away the one handed operation. Again not ideal.Opted for the darker shade to avoid any possible problems with it going yellow over time. Case fits well and the stand clip seems solid enough for now.
