So now I’m glad to say that not only are the magnets in these magsafe rings super strong but ESR 150% stands by it’s products and supports it customers. That is massive praise.

It doubles as a stand (horizontal and vertical) and a sturdy grip. The magnets are seriously strong, clinging onto my iPhone securely, even with my Mous case that has the strongest MagSafe magnets. Built from solid metal, I’m not worried about it breaking. Overall, it’s a solid and versatile addition that i definitely recommend.

Solid and well manufactured. However, when folded in, the combined height, of the 2 inner rings, exceeds that of the ring that magnetically adheres to the phone. Perhaps, engineering prevented a slightly slimmer and compact design. If the design was a bit slimmer and compact, I would have rated it 5 Stars.

Either they’re too bulky, the magnet isn’t strong enough, the ring is too difficult for me to pull open without removing the magnet first (my nails have always been too short, but that’s another story), the hinge either is or gets loose over time, etc. etc. you get the idea. I have a good idea of what to look for because I’ve experienced what doesn’t work by trying other ring holders/stands over the years.This one, however, hits all the right spots imo. The magnet is strong, the hinges are tight and solid—able to hold the phone up in any position regardless of the direction of the hinge. Using this ring stand, I can easily switch from ring holder to ring stand without even changing the direction of the magnet. All of the others I’ve tried have failed to hold my phone’s weight unless the hinge is open like a kickstand. This one can actually hold it in any direction, and I was pretty surprised that the hinges held so well in their opposite directions.And although it’s compact and not bulky, I can still easily open the ring with my fingers without removing the magnet from the phone. I still have to remove it prior to charging through the MagSafe, but I believe that that’s an Apple thing, and not something that’s a plus or a minus for this product in particular.If you’re on the fence about getting this one or another one, get this one. You won’t regret it.
