The design is quite slim. The 3M adhesive was fine, but I replaced it with my own stronger adhesive, so it was very sturdy until after 8 months the hinge became loose. Thought it would last longer than that. 🙁

The first one adhered good to the back of my otterbox case but wore out after about a 1.5 years but I was satisfied with that. It did eventually unstick and I had to use the extra adhesive strip it came with. But the second one will not adhere to the back of my iPhone 13 Pro Max that does not have a case. I believe the adhesive strip is too thin. I’m going to have to try another double sided adhesive. Not a deal breaker but is an issue that could be improved. I will probably continue to use them on future phones if I can remedy the weak adhesive issue.

I’ve owned a ZFold 4 for a couple years now and use the slim standing case from Samsung. But the cheapo kickstand on the Samsung case keeps breaking, I’ve gone through two cases. Tired of that I figured I’d try this little kickstand instead. It’s perfect. I mounted it right in the indent the Samsung kickstand folds into. This new one fits right in that spot and is just maybe 1mm higher than flush. Still works with wireless charger. It works way better than the original kickstand and holds this heavy phone at any angle you set the kickstand to. It feels very sturdy. The 3m tape is holding strong but I’ve only used it for a couple days. If you have a Fold Samsung phone this stand will support it’s weight and works perfectly.

I have an otterbox case, it is made from hard and slightly textured plastic. The adhesive in this stand sticks to the case. When I put the phone in landscape the stand is really great. When the phone is vertical with the stand holding it on a surface – like a table, the adhesive starts to slip on the edges of the stand. When that happens the stand rotates slightly and the phone falls over. If you have a hard, textured phone case, keep searching for a more robust stand. I think the adhesive on the stand will work on other cases, and it is really nice when it works.

Loved this as a replacement for the ever breaking stand on the supcase unicorn beetle case. Unfortunately only stayed stuck 20 days, and definitely not sticky enough to restick. I do think they send an extra piece of adhesive that’ll have to find here. But I think I’m just going to try hot gluing it.Wish it was a bit wider. Is pretty tippy vertical.Wonderfully slim.
