With the release of another of Apple’s lineup in view, the atmosphere is filled with so much curiosity about the device’s features including its size, design, spec, and shape. Following Apple’s norms over the years, it’s just about a few months until the launch of the new iPhone lineup (14). As rumors begin to spread around, some facts have been deduced while many more are gradually unfolding. As such, rumors have been fairly clear on what to anticipate regarding the iPhone 14 case compared to its would-be immediate predecessor. For this and many more reasons, we hope to educate you on whether the iPhone 13 case<\/u><\/a>\u00a0would make a good fit for iPhone 14; and if not we’ll highlight the differences between them.<\/p>\n

iPhone 14 Cases What To Expect<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is not new to anticipate only four variants of the expected iPhone 14 since Apple’s attention seems to have derailed from the Mini series. The four variants in the iPhone 14 series, with screens measuring 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, are iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max.<\/p>\n

One would curiously anticipate that the iPhone cases would be interchangeable given that the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro’s 6.1-inch screens are the same sizes as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro’s. Unfortunately, a lot of hopes would not be met by the result. This is major because the changes\/differences between the cameras for the phones are quite significant. As such, the predicted problem will most likely be the camera hump. That said, the cases could still fit in some sense. Let’s see how.<\/p>\n

Why an iPhone 13 Case Will Fit on the New iPhone 14<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When will talk about the phones\u2019 respective dimensions (height & screen), the cases could actually match each other because the base dimensions of both the current and anticipated iPhone models are probably going to stay the same. Also, when their lengths are compared, the iPhone 13 series seem to be a good fit for its would-be successor respectively.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, rumors are suggesting that Apple Inc. also intends to offer users a non-Pro 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus model. This version hopes to come with a reduced camera bump, unlike the others. If this turns out to be true, then this model will surprisingly share the same physical dimensions as Apple’s previous Pro Max iPhone models. Consequently, the iPhone 13 Pro Max case, if tried, would undoubtedly match the iPhone 14 Plus for a perfect fit. However, the clause would be the non-fitting camera hole and the camera system. It would probably come out looking a bit awkward since the camera hole in the case is noticeably larger than the phone\u2019s two-lens camera system.<\/p>\n

However, no one wants to use a phone case that does not properly fit into the camera system of the phone, even if the sizes and dimensions are the same. This brings us to why it won’t fit.<\/p>\n

Why an iPhone 13 Case Won\u2019t Fit For iPhone 14 & 14 Pro <\/strong><\/h2>\n

From all indications, Apple’s camera bulge seems to get larger as new models are launched and their sizes increased. And this seems to be a turn-off to the expectation of many\u2013in terms of case fittings. The larger camera bulge present on the expected series (iPhone 14, and 14 Pro) obviously means that cases made for the current iPhone 13 \u00a0series won’t be a perfect fit for the upcoming generation.<\/p>\n
