It’s no longer news that AirPods Pro 2 will be coming out sooner or later because a lot of people have been eagerly waiting for the unveiling. But what will the design of the AirPods Pro 2 be like? Would there be any physical changes as well as technological advancements different from early AirPods? According to sources, rumors have it that Apple might not alter the original AirPods Pro’s design, but will change the optical sensor on the underside of each earbud. According to rumors, the newest Pros will include skin-detect sensors similar to those used in the AirPods 3. From an ear-caring perspective, I would like to add that if the new AirPods Pro is actually more rounded, noise-canceling will improve. And that would be a plus.<\/p>\n

In terms of features, the AirPods Pro 2 should support MagSafe charging, as Apple has done with the current iPhones and the AirPods Pro. A vast majority of people are also looking for better battery life for AirPods Pro 2, similar to the AirPods 3. Similarly, I believe the next AirPods will include an upgraded chip, which should be more powerful than the one found in the AirPods 3. Because, like the AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro, the AirPods 3 contain an H1 chip.<\/p>\n

Hopes are high that the AirPods Pro 2 will have an upgraded H chip, dubbed the H2, or possibly the U1 processor seen in AirTags. If the AirPods Pro 2 uses a U1 chip, they won’t need to support AirTags because they’ll have precision-finding capacity to identify their location in ‘Find My’ and maybe soundtracking without the AirPods case being opened. Because there are obvious speaker holes on the casing, the leaked case shot from MacRumors suggests greater ‘Find My’ or precision-finding functionality as well. There is also a strap loop on the side. With these and other features, it’s possible that Apple will assist us in keeping track of our AirPods Pro 2 in more ways than one.<\/p>\n

Motion detection can be useful in so many ways including fitness tracking. With this feature hopefully coming through for Apple users sooner or later, it would be a game-changer for the AirPods generation. Although nothing is certain, and no news has been heard so far from Apple Inc. regarding the AirPods Pro 2 with motion sensors capable of fitness monitoring. However, rumors and speculations have it that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is of the notion that the next AirPods will feature unlimited motion and fitness-tracking capabilities.<\/p>\n

According to a news release from Apple’s Machine Learning Research Center, audio may be utilized to predict respiration rate.
