How do you love to have good news being shared with you? narratives from a source or by reading through yourself?
Well, you may have picked the former but I bet many would go with the latter. Albeit, in this case, I tell you that you can have your cake and eat it – you can have both combined into one. This, I call “reading the narrative method.”
Checking up that phrase on the internet already? Not so fast, buddy! That phrase was coined by me and you probably wouldn’t find it anywhere out there (at least not anytime soon).
Enough of my impromptu English lecture (I didn’t see that coming, by the way, did you?) so, let me cut to the chase, I’ve got good news for you!
I wouldn’t be so tight-fisted not to share this good news with you, after all, we spread love when we share.
So, drum roll as I bring to your notice that Apple is set to unveil its latest product – iPhone 13! Now, this sounds more like it.
While it may not be recent news to you, someone out there is very excited about this. And yeah, I was super excited when I first heard about this (I still am, anyway).
Well, perhaps by the end of this article, you would get the tingling feeling I’m talking about.
This article is a merry ride and you’re likely to become expectant while reading. So, are you ready to ride?
The first thing I would like to share with you about the iPhone 13 is the name and that is simply because it would help stimulate your cravings to see the much-anticipated product from Apple.
Although it is not certain if the new device will be called iPhone 13 but following from the previous train of naming their devices, from iPhone 11 to iPhone 12, it is easier to conclude that Apple may maintain the same trend, thus naming this new device, iPhone 13.
According to a survey conducted, not many folks are willing to give up their bucks for this product because of the 13 in its name – iPhone 13. However, many preferred they used a different number in place of 13 and thus suggested the number, 21 – as in, iPhone 21.
Release Date
While we all anticipate this launch date, Apple has not given a specific date for launching the iPhone 13 but one of Apple’s analysts Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that iPhone 13 should be ready for launch sometime in September 2021.
That expression on your face was expected, I made the same expression too when curiosity got the better part of me and I was unable to get a perfect answer.
Unlike the quite unfortunate occurrence that affected the release date of the iPhone 12, which pushed the launch date until sometime in October, however, you can keep your fingers crossed till September which is like Apple’s custom launch date for unveiling new products. If the previous arrangement for the launch date is followed duly, the product is likely to be available for sale toward the last week of September (24th September, precisely) 2021. However, this date isn’t certain yet as Apple has announced their difficulty in recruiting workers.
Moving on from the release date to the rumored features, here are some of the expected features to look out for in the iPhone 13;
Display
From reliable sources, it has been gathered that iPhone 13 has a 120Hz LTPO display on its pro models.
Also, Apple is trying to downsize the notch area by replacing the display notch with a smaller one by combining the sensor and dot projector plus the distinct infra-red flood illuminator which makes up the iPhone 12’s Face ID unlocking system into a single one. Thus, we should expect a narrower notch area on the iPhone 13.
Further, the iPhone 13 may obtain an under-display take on touch ID.
Design
In terms of design, cues from different news sources give a pointer that there is a possibility of having an iPhone 13 mini in spite of the low sales of the iPhone 12 mini. This brings us to conclude that there will be four models for the iPhone 13.
The iPhone 13 design comes with quite a number of differences such as will be seen in the placement of the speaker, which has been positioned towards the top of the device.
Also, there is a change in the camera arrangement which helps in differentiating the regular iPhone 13 from iPhone 13 Pro. While the regular iPhone 13 will have a new diagonal camera arrangement, the iPhone 13 Pro model will have a larger camera module for the iPhone 13 pro.
In addition to its design, there is a shift in the position of the power buttons, which is moved a bit downward. Also, the sim card tray is pushed downward.
Furthermore, reliable sources give us a pointer that there is a possibility that the iPhone 13 Pro max might be a bit larger than the iPhone 12 Pro.
Although, there is a proposed model for the iPhone 13 case, when tested with the iPhone 12, it was slightly bigger at the camera module.
Size
From rumors making rounds, it is easier to tell that the iPhone 13 model will retain the sizes of those of the iPhone 12, that is; 5.4-inch for the iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch for the iPhone 13, 6.1-inch for the iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch for the iPhone 13 Pro max.
Color
Various leaks have suggested that the regular iPhone 13 will be available in 3 colors; pink, orange and matte black while iPhone 13 Pro will come in four different colors; gold, silver, sun-set gold and black.
Storage
One source gives a pointer that the iPhone 13 storage will range from 64GB and 512GB. Reports from Wedbush tell us that the iPhone 13 will have up to 1 terra byte (TB) of storage, however, Information from TrendForce firm indicates that iPhone 13 Pro models will not have the 1 terabyte (TB) storage option.
Battery Life
Get ready to enjoy an efficient battery life on the iPhone 13 as a result of its active 5G modem and important upgrade made to all of its cameras, which comprises a novel portrait video mode.
Connectivity
In terms of wireless connectivity, the iPhone 13 has a big advantage and Apple plan of adopting Qualcomm’s X60 5G modem is achieved on the iPhone 13.
Price
