Brightness, contrast, black level, and/or sharpness cannot be manually adjusted if there are preset display settings applied. Ensure the following “Advanced Settings” are applied: IMAGE > ECO > STANDARD; IMAGE > DCR > OFF; MISC. > HDR MODE > OFF.

The monitor not turning on indicates no/insufficient power supply. Connect monitor to external power supply via USB-C to C cable or USB-C to A cable.
Note: if connecting to power socket, 10W+ PD or QC adapter required (not included).
This occurs when the monitor is powered on but is not receiving a video signal. Only USB-C Display Port supports power and screen projection. Otherwise, you can power the monitor using the USB-C to C or USB-C to A cables and connect via HDMI for screen projection.

This monitor is amazing. It has a built in stand, and the screen pixels is High definition. Very slim and east to transport. I ran into an issue with my device connection with my computer and reached out to ESR and they sent me a replacement at no additional cost. They also said I didn’t have to return the original device. The device and service is Top tier.

I bought this when I was overly busy with work, so didn’t have time to do even 10% of the exhaustive research I normally do before buying something, scouring reviews, looking for alternatives that are a tiny bit better etc etc.The other similar monitor that came up prominently in my search was a Lenovo one, and I’m buying this monitor as a second monitor for a Lenovo laptop.However the Lenovo monitor had a significant number of reviews saying it was incompatible with certain laptops.The ESR reviews were glowing for this monitor, so I bought it.I unpacked it, and WOW! It’s super thin, light, sleek, beautiful. Plugged a single USB C cable from my laptop to the monitor and it came on and acted as a second monitor instantly. Talk about plug and play.I haven’t even used it, I’ve only turned it on and tested that it works and it’s worth 5 stars.Something this good looking and quality feeling and this plug and play (only 1 cable needed for power and pictures) is worth 5 stars given that it cost £150. Ridiculously good value 😀

The screen definitely needs some tweaking to give you that HD feel but it still doesnt feel 100%. However, it does provide a good and durable experience while using it.

I bought the monitor to complement working on my new SGIN 15.6 Inch laptop which I bought at the same time. I use a laptop mainly for web browsing and personal business using office applications.The monitor screen is bright and clear. More than serves its purpose to enable multi-tasking and switching between applications.I like the kickstand which houses all the ports and enables the monitor to be quickly and easily connected. It stands firmly in either portrait or landscape mode. A light case is provided which will help protect the monitor if you intend to carry it about with your laptop.The guidance is of poor quality. Extremely brief and miniscule print.3 cables are provided, a HDMI-to-HDMI mini, a USB C-to-C, and a USB C-to-A. The cables are 1.2 metres (4 feet) in length. Too long for my liking. ½ metre cables would have sufficed considering the monitor, in most circumstances, will be standing next to its prime monitor.The monitor has 2 USB C ports and 1 HDMI mini port. My laptop has 1 HDMI mini port, 1 USB C port and 2 USB A ports. Whilst the USB C to C and USB C to A cables enabled power to the monitor from my laptop, I could not get an image to the monitor. As my laptop only had a HDMI mini port, the HDMI cable provided with the monitor was of no use.I then bought a UGREEN USB-C multifunction 7-in-1 adaptor which included a HDMI port to enable me to use the monitor\’s HDMI-to-HDMI mini cable. However, still no image showed on the monitor. All other ports on the adapter worked satisfactorily, ie the 2 USB C and 2 USB A ports. I was able to still get power to the monitor from the laptop after routing the USB C-to-C and USB C-to-A cables via the adaptor.After further purchasing a HDMI-to-HDMI mini adaptor, which enabled the monitor\’s HDMI-to-HDMI mini cable to be connected, I finally got an image on the monitor.Got there in the end. As I mention previously, the quality of the image is bright, clear and I am more than happy with it.

Not a bad monitor, but unfortunately the packaging left a sticky residue on the whole side of the monitor which is very distracting and I haven’t been able to get it off.

Pros:Great value product at competitive price.No setup required.Can stand vertically as well as horizontally. I normally use the monitor in portrait mode as this configuration makes the most sense to me as a secondary display (I use it for software development).Feels extremely thin and light. It’s like carrying a notepad around.Comes with a small carry case that protects the display.Comes with various cables. Although you’d probably only want to use the USB-C to USB-C as it provides both signal as well as power from your laptop.—Cons:The only downside for me personally is it is easy to leave fingerprints and smudges on the display as it is glass. But that is just personal taste and glass can be good too as it is durable.It comes with a built-in speaker for completeness, but this speaker probably won’t sound as good as your laptop.
